Turkey Shaped Brownies: Do it Yourself Extravaganza!
Looking for some new ideas to brighten your Thanksgiving table and delight your guests? We’ve cooked up some exciting do-it-yourself ideas that incorporate scrumptious Greyston Bakery Brownies and Blondies you can find at Whole Foods!
We are including a few ideas to accommodate the DIY in us all. Some are fun and relatively easy; others require a bit more time! All will have your guests smiling with glee! Enjoy!
Turkey Shaped Brownies
To have a turkey shaped brownie greeting each person at his or her place setting, you will need several Pumpkin Spice Blondies and Chocolate Fudge Brownies.
Once the packages have been opened, stand the brownie up on your plate or cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut the brownie into two thinner pieces. Then, create a large semicircle out of the first piece of Chocolate Fudge brownie. Cut concentric V-shaped edges into the curved side of the brownie.
Repeat this step with the Pumpkin Spice Blondie, making this turkey cutout slightly smaller than the previous one. Add the edging.
Your last turkey cut out, using a Chocolate Fudge Brownie, should be the smallest of all. Again, add the edges.
Finally, create the head. Using a piece of Pumpkin Spice Blondie, cut a large enough rectangle to serve as the base and then curve up into a C shape. Place all the parts on a plate. Voila! You will have an adorable turkey shaped brownie delight! And if you’re lucky, you can eat any scraps leftover!
Easier Option
An easier, but equally as satisfying place setting involves simply placing one of our three delectable Brownie or Blondie options on a plate. Your guests will be surprised and joyous to find a sweet treat ready to be enjoyed!
To show gratitude to all guests (or to your host), place ribbon around a Pumpkin Spice Blondie. Punch a hole in a tiny piece of paper and insert it on the ribbon. Place your desired message on the paper! Leave this at the person’s place at the table.
